I see that Unifi TV is now shifting/broaden its IPTV business towards a streaming hub for us customers.

They don’t care about the amount of linear channels they have; as long as the quality of content matters, that should be enough for them & us. Well, it would be a plus if the picture quality improvement counts too. They know what they’re doing.

Now with the recent bundling of Vidio & TVBAnywhere+ with Aneka+ & Ruby+ Packs respectively, those two apps aren’t cheap ones for sure, considering their unique content offerings, let alone TM itself has to cover massive expenses to bring in those popular apps through Unifi TV Packs overall; that’s why TM revise the prices for all 3 vernacular packs including Varnam+ Pack. And, still it’s cheaper than market prices.

Overall, I can say that the streaming apps bundling that Unifi TV offers are very compelling and quite affordable as well. Bang for the buck.

Seems like they’ve reverted back to SIAR as an Aneka+ Pack complimentary app access on Unifi’s website. Vidio app is yet to launch here.

Edit: My bad, it’s actually Viu that supposed to be replaced by Vidio. SIAR is unchanged.

Once you get discounted price of its TV packs during certain period, you can keep it forever; until you’re decided to change it.

Mine is on Ultimate Max Pack since Oct 2023, still RM89.90 monthly + RM10 Netflix Premium. RRP is RM134.90.

What are your favorite shows from those channels?

Channel Zone: Only has 6 live TV channels to stream
VOD Zone: Only has VOD content
Premium Zone: Combination of both Channel & VOD Zones

Chinese channels on Unifi TV; only Celestial Movies is in true HD. CCM doesn’t count sorry to say, the rest are not even HD as it should be (Now Jelli, CCTV-4)

My HITS NOW On Demand is stated by Unifi TV as “not subscribed.” Live TV Ch 452 is fine without interruption. Sad.

Did you check on the MyUnifi app as well? Is ZEE5 still stated as an add-on service or not?

You’ll be getting TVB Anywhere+ VOD Zone only as a complimentary access of Ruby+ Pack.

For Channel Zone, add-on is required on MyUnifi app at only RM9.90/mth (RRP RM19.90). 1080p live streaming resolution. Note that for Channel Zone, only Live TV is available, VOD isn’t.

Why don’t you get Premium Zone instead? It’s the cheapest with Unifi; only RM15.90/mth. Retail price is RM39.90.

I can’t tell as I’m not on Ruby+ Pack or using the TVB Anywhere+ app.

I’m convinced that the latest TVB dramas are directly simulcast from HK, precisely right after the TVB Jade channel premiere. TVB Anywhere+ also has its original series to watch exclusively on its mobile app.

Look out for the “Latest on Shelf” section on the homepage; there you’ll see the content episode updates occasionally.
