Has anyone here "upgraded" their UnifiTV Ultimate (Legacy) pack to something cheaper like Ruby Plus? Thereby saving RM30/mth and get TVBAnywhere.

This I know. Was Ultimate Pack ever discounted by RM30?

I'm trying to reduce the price of my Unifi while waiting for the free upgrade. That's why thinking of changing from RM60 Ultimate to RM30 Ruby Plus. In order to get RM129/month.

True that. I went from 50->100Mbps + Ruby->Ultimate a long time ago for +RM10 (179+10). Somehow ended up with both Ruby & Ultimate. Then TM removed Ruby and -RM30 which is how I ended up with RM159/mth. Somehow the discount is all applied to the internet so Ultimate remains at RM60.

Which is a good thing if I can "upgrade" from Ultimate to Ruby Plus.

After not using for months, I turned on the UnifiTV STB. The old white one that uses VLAN600. Surprised that it still works. But looks like no Olympics channels on it.

Agreed that the legacy Ultimate is pretty much useless. I'm thinking of changing to Ruby to see if I can further reduce the price by RM30.
