guys i only hv device as mentioned earlier. app still running perfectly without update prompt on miBoxS. for v1.1.6, just ignore the update. I only spoof the hardcoded versioncode. still running fine on my SharpTV (stupid android 6 no update since 2018) 😰

for those got crash, logcat would be helpful. u can fetch the logcat thru wifi connection easily using adb connect command. enable developer mode debugging. run the unifitv app wait until crash. then adb logcat *:E > c:\loghere.txt

Yeah, i just revert back to 1.1.14.
Looks like working version now on my miboxs.
Just cannot exit the apps, otherwise need to clear data/cache and relogin again

ue630x is a great tv, isn't it?! biggrin.gif

it is still doing great for me.

not so much about tv apps but as a tv, still excellent, albeit non-HDR. thumbsup.gif

ATV tv's are great for certain things... netflix, news, youtube, etc.

for other apps, i have several android boxes, less hassle with apps like astrogo, playtv, playback.

best of both. smile.gif

Helo frens. I can make it totally ignore & skip future updates but later duno if there is new update available. I think better keep it this way.

sample crash on my Sharp TV. u need to rectify & fix crash (if any). then make the app ignore ur device type instead of Unifi Plus box.

ATV apps are optimized to operate using tv remote easily. For NON Android TV device, please proceed to use THIS (playtv@unifi).

[For certified Android TV Box] (eg: MiBox S)
v1.2.01 unify playTV 1201_ATVBOX_rev2 - tested and using on my MiBox S
v1.1.14 unify playTV 1114_ATVBOX_rev2 - tested on my miboxs all good

[For certified Android TV] (eg: Sharp LCUE630X)
v1.2.01 unify playTV 1201_AND-TV_rev2 - tested, no crash, but compatibilty issue on my old SharpTV
v1.1.14 unify playTV 1114_AND-TV_rev2 - tested, no crash, but compatibilty issue on my old SharpTV
v1.1.06 unify playTV 1106_AND-TV_rev2 - tested and using on my old SharpTV

*All variants has Unifi Plus Box device restriction bypass mod.
*All variants has force update disabled. Can keep using when new update available on PlayStore.
*My test results are just for knowledge-base sharing and may vary on other device model.
*If u encounter stuck at loading/buffering animation, simply reboot your device.
