AFAIK only TV3 got 1080p streaming. Unifi TV’s not even considering to upgrade 8TV to 1080p streaming as well, despite it’s the most watched Chinese Malaysian channel.

Welcome aboard the Ultimate MAX Pack to my Unifi TV subscription. I've also added Netflix Premium for another RM10; so RM99.90/mth for life!

As I expected, I don’t have to activate the Unifi TV Box first; it’s just the moment UPB parcel arrives to my home, then I received the next email & SMS instructions from Unifi to activate Netflix. Now awaiting the final ticket to activate SIAR, iQIYI, and Viu apps.

Same thing as SPOTV NOW. We now got 720p streaming, if want 1080p need to subscribe to their Premium tier.

Anyway about HBO GO, I’m only linking it with Unifi TV once my 3-month iTunes subscription expires Nov 20.

Apparently SPOTV linear TV streaming via SPOTV NOW was no longer available since Sept 20, 2023. Only special live events will continue to live stream there.

Regarding free speed upgrade starting tomorrow.

In 2017, all FTA channels on Unifi TV (HyppTV back then) had a 2-hour Time-Shift TV function. But it didn't last long, something to do with broadcasting rights.

Correction: Salam HD is indeed not an FTA channel, it's still considered a free cable TV channel operated by Unifi TV.

MYTV Mana-Mana app doesn’t available yet on Android TV/Google TV. But it has Cast function, so you can stream content straight from your phone to smart TV.

No, you won't. You need to swap to Family Pack for the same RM60 price tag to receive HBO Pak channels + HBO GO. You'll lose Disney+ Hotstar access.

Just a friendly reminder, for those who still want to watch HBO channels while insisting on keeping the current packs (like the Legacy Ultimate Pack), an à la carte subscription of HBO Pak channels will be announced soon.

In the meantime, the HBO GO app can be added to your Unifi TV bill for a special price of RM24.90/month on the Unifi Selfcare portal & the MyUnifi app.
