For those using white box

1. Does your UI for main screen right after startup still stuck at the old HyppTV page where you can flip among 3 selections side by side and 2 selections of browser and settings at the bottom

2. Does your screen show "Authenticating in progress..." after choosing HyppTV / uniFi TV at the main screen

Think that procedure will not work for you... and anyone not migrated yet.... official or modded apk.

But u signed up the rm10 thingy... a shame it is still not migrated.

Nothing. I don’t even aware about this ‘migration’ thingy.. I just got my @iptv login Id from unifi account app, went through forgot password proses at unifi tv mobile app, because I’m hate to call tm cs, and I login as usual

why I only try to login tv app now because only yesterday I have access to working android tv unifi app. Not because I received any email on migration or some sort

The way those guys work.... better not try to guess. biggrin.gif

One thing for sure, those not migrated, like me.... the new apks, regular android 1.2.10 or ATV 1.1.4, official or modded will not work.

Got a message.. "u have not been migrated"... whether phone or tablet or box or ATV.

For now, forget new apk, just use old....

just asked TM to reset my password because i cannot login to the old unifi TV app on my phone.
It said wrong password. Hope i can login to the new app with the new password

1. I get replacement unit white STB from .. already 3 week .. still use old firmware (can scroll app .. of course can install other apps) .

2. Unifi TV already new interface with new login (xxxx@iptv) at top left angle

I've reset the password and able to login into the old UnifiTV app,

Tried to login UnifiTV app on ATV, it said wrong username/pasasword

Tried to login the new UnifiTV app on Phone, it said a/c not migrated yet.

Unifi TV on Streamyx STB - 2.8Mbps, hardcoded subtitles
Old Unifi playTV app (com.huawei.phone/pad.tm 7.9.11) - 2.8Mbps, hardcoded subtitles, casting blocked
New Unifi playTV app (com.tm.playtv 1.2.10) - 4.8Mbps, switchable audio and subtitles, able to cast to TV
Unifi TV for new STB / Android TV (com.tm.unifitv 1.1.4) - probably same as com.tm.playtv but with TV interface.

*the bitrates stated are max available bitrate for most HD channels. Some channels / network conditions may have lower bitrate.

Since the new Love Nature channel is 977kbps in com.tm.playtv, I guess it's not available in HD or 4K on the new STB too. Anyone with new STB can check?

I can use com.tm.playtv since last year so I have been migrated. Been subscriber for few years. A newer subscriber that I know hasn't been migrated yet.

Addon: suggest we use the package name (com.xxx.xxx) when mentioning the apps to prevent misunderstandings.

Sorry, I still don’t get it how your account can be migrated since last year when the Plus box was launched 4 days ago.
I thought after TM installed the Plus box, TM has to migrate your account so that it can be use on the Plus box.
After the migration, your account on use on 5 devices. Before the migration, your account can only used on 2 devices.
Can you confirm your id can log in to 5 devices concurrently?

The TM guy just came just now and install the Unifi Plus Box. He doesn’t seem so sure with the installation as this is only his 2nd time so we explore it together. These are my findings so far:

1) Unifi Plus Box can be connected via Wifi compared to my older Unifi White Box. It connected to LAN3 on the router if want to use via wired.

2) The remote on Unifi Plus Box has no number and no mosaic list of channel. U have to scroll down and right to pick the channel. There is also no info or option to pick subtitle. Hopefully they will fix this with updates similar like the white box.

3) Most of the channel look a bit blurry as most of them don’t support 4k quality yet so have to change the resolution back to 1080p 60kz so it look more clearer.

So since already bought it, I use the new Unifi Plus Box on my old TV which doesn’t support 4k for now and use my old Unifi white box on my living room 4k TV cos it is pretty tiresome to scroll in picking the channel. Once more channels support 4k quality then maybe I’ll switch them.
