this unpleasant issue has a long history... lots of discussion in the main unifi thread going back 3-4 years.

basically, these lower prices came about from free upgrades for the oldest customers.

add on top little napoleon agents doing things on their own and maybe deliberate mistakes - u get a full spectrum of prices and speed and unifitv packs.

if i remember correctly, the champions are those 800mbps at rm149, 500 at 139 and 300 at 129 + all the usual frills.

I'm Ruby pack upgrade to Ultimate add on RM10 last time.

conclusion is Ultimate pack. I can watch all channel all years long.

I'm ruby pack plus already use bbc player many year already,.

wow..great, bcoz BBC player only ultimate pack can get this. when you sign in pop up appear on ur tv.

Altough I'm using ruby plus pack, I still choose iqiyi for most.
Because iqiyi program seems like more attractive. (for korean drama, Malaysian series and anime)

Is Unifi Ruby Pack RM30 still worth it? We rarely watch except standard free channels. Now without Disney, it would be worse. What's the best alternative?

Hi guys!.. Suddenly I can't see my subscription package channel (RUBY) in my unifi tv on Android box. Before this OK no problem. But the free channel like tv3, tv1, al hijrah all no problem can watch. I tried install the unifi tv app at my phone no problem, all the channel can watch. For Android TV it shows error 01999.

Anybody know what the problem?. Im ask unifi Facebook, the answer was stupid. Asking me to connect to port 4. I'm using wifi for my android box and before this no problem can run for a long time.

But it doesn't apply to its crappy unifi playTV mobile app. Still unwatchable on iOS 15 to this day.

Why they didn't think of this earlier. Many people either move out to other isp already or requesting hidden "SWU" package to cancel the TV entirely

I took the Ultimate pack and plan to continue as I heard they are bringing in a few more channels and the big streaming apps which I hope they bundle for free too.

cannot test right now due to free channel for all user

i removed app as it keep error 'Uh oh! something went wrong'
i log in portal still show 'unifi TV Residential' same as old 30mbps user ID,
OMG i cannot log in playtv@unifi on phone, error 'something went wrong to your acoount'

just try change my plan on portal, got this line

that mean, from my 30mbps non fibre with ruby pack (RM119) upgrade to fibre 100mbps is removed my tv pack (RM129)
and if i click change plan, will cos more from RM129+RMxx
never think my tv pack will get removed if i upgrade, TM point also did not say about that
seem cant get back that tv pack now

Yes it's a 12v 1a adapter. Need to try to find the dustbin shape router which TM have and see if that adapter can plug in or not.

Btw do you happen to use a shield tv? Trying the official and latest modded 1.2.17 version by Woundxp seems to be giving me 01999 error. Wonder which is the highest version which still works for the shield

Just trying to temporarily use the shield for this and it's proving to not be easy lol.

EDIT: it does work, just had to change channel. By default it was on a channel which isn't in my plan I think so it had such a vague error zzz.
My god quality is like crap  compared to metal Huawei box. T.T

I think my play store doesn't have it since I'm using US Google account for my Shield.

Recently friend's Unifi got upgraded (originally was 100Mbps with Unifi TV white android box). However he got offer an upgrade (modem replace, speed increase to 300Mbps). He agrees to do it and after the upgrade, his Unifi TV box no longer works.

I recall before that his old modem (The black Unifi router) had 4 ports, 3 for LAN, 1 for IPTV. The new unit, which is white router, has only 3 port. I help my friend to check the setting and notice that only 2 of the 3 LAN ports is being used (connected to a switch) while Lan 1 and 3 are not active. Didn't even see any IPTV setting either.

Any ideas?
