ok la. you want quality content, prepare to pay as these days ppl no longer buy magazines and printed material. so now harga naik to justify the cost of printing and distribution as the numbers of printed magazine has gone down.

thats why tora aman and comic house tutup. gila la i was in the middle of collecting Shin Chan then suddenly bankrap. RM10 ok la, sebulan sekali. ask orang beli rokok rm12 once every two days, or worst once per day

i started collect manga early from comic house like dbz/one piece/shin chan/misteri naga etc

though i do read online scan, i still buy physical book. as i grew older, now im collecting from Viz, same series and more of others.

gempak starz do have pretty good quality print, like Yotsuba/lawak kampus. if they can maintain the quality/english translated, rm10/12 is cheap actually comparing to a cup of starbucks.

The RM10 Doraemon, is it the Gempak print one you're talking about? honestly it's still consider reasonable.

If Tora Aman one, for sure, they increase the price due to "nostalgia" and/or limited old stock. It can get even higher than that. try check Carousell. Last time from a private seller, was letting it go for RM1000. Way, way, expensive.

Dunno if any gullible collector buy it or not..
