matter of the fact is they are supporting us unofficially already. one game shop in malaysia (guess who) is getting stocks direct from the official distributor in singapore and they are covered by the standard 1 year warranty like the one offered to Singaporeans. The only problem is that its still considered parallel imports. they are aware of and (again unofficially) supporting the events i run with the game shop as well.

I'm thinking , a little bit more than this, maybe a phone support number in Malaysia and also 1 to 1 exchange/repair in Malaysia not SG.

Ya all need to send back to SG!its suck man!xtra cost needed to send it there. We need a local support not just depend on Singapore. Really suck to see our gamer tag show that we r singaporian hope the future xbox will state our origin which is MALAYSIA!!!!!!!!!!!

MS is unofficially supporting the events? In what way labbit, cause I didn't see any sign of MS at all during the last event.

Added on June 15, 2007, 4:28 pmerr that's quite impossible until they officially launch the xbox 360 in Malaysia. I don't know if you know how things work, but it doesn't work like that. To have phone support and a service center, you need to put a lot of things in place first.

Why would Msoft want to provide support for a product that is technically not available in Malaysia?

No I dont know how these things work , I'm sure the details on setting up a support center, etc is important but IMO the crucial thing is Msoft decision with xbox in malaysia. If they decide to support, I'm sure they will put everything in place.

Look, I met this guy by chance and discussed this with him and he encouraged, so now I'm trying to collect some data to try and push our case, thats all. I'm quite passionate abt this at the moment, so I dont care if I'm wasting my time
