Dont bother TS. I have tried a few coin deposit machines around damansara, biggest waste of time and effort:

1) you have to go during office hours! Thats right, no idea why they put the coin machine inside the building when they have cash deposit and cheque machine at outside on 24/7.

2) And if you manage to squeeze in time to visit these banks during office hours. Its still all luck. 4 out of 5 working days the machine is either spoilt or already full. Apparently the machine can only accept a certain amount of coins in a day. If its full come back the next day. They say the golden time is 9.30am or 10am when the banks are just open. Lol this makes it seem like we queuing for some early iphone launch.

3) and if you manage to get a functional machine, dont be overjoyed yet. When you feed the machine, the thing may get too heavy or if it feels theres a discrepancy on one of ur coins, it will eject all out. And you have to continue feed it little by little till it accepts all. Phewwww worst experience ever.

My suggestion: everytime u wanna go mamak for your breakfast or a tehtarik, put a few grabs of coin to a tote bag and let the mamak count for you while you enjoy your meal. They will let you countercheck the stacks once they are done segregrating. Of course be smart, and choose those mamak that you think are more trustworthy. It will be win win. They are happy to get free supply of coins, u get to dispose yours. Sometimes they will even give you a discount on ur tehtarik.
