Go to any mamak, coffeshop, provision shops around your area and they just love your coins.

I regularly change my accumulated coins ranging from RM50 above to RM200. Pack in RM50 just in case one shop cannot take all.

When you exchange coins with bank, charges apply.

Unless you need coins, then you have to go to the bank.

i'm actually not very happy with how the deal with coins nowadays. even if you go to bank with coins, the teller macam not really willing.

except for the hlb at kl central, but i don't go to office now so its not an option for me now.

seriously, menabung coins is the best way to teach a kid to save money and the whole system basically abandon that now.

Nowadays, hawkers, mamaks, coffeeshops etc are more receptive to coins exchange than banks.
