Made a trip back to NZ, really love this country for its stunning landscapes and peaceful atmosphere. Its almost impossible to take a bad photo in this country. Haven't posted in a while, so i thought why not.

Thanks! biggrin.gif

I used my Sony A7ii with the 16-35mm f4 for all the shots above, i did have a 50mm and 85mm f1.8 in my bag as well, but most of my landscape shots were taken with the wide angle. Although, i should try to start taking landscape with the 50 and 85 to give it a different look. Maybe next time i guess.

Cool. I am planning to get A7ii too but only with kit lens. Budget constraint. tongue.gif

A7ii is a great camera, especially for the price, I dont see any better Full Frame options around. The 16-35mm is quite an expensive lens imo, and quite an investment. The kitlens would be a great place to start if u are unsure on the type of photos you would like to take (personally not a fan coz its a little soft and 28mm is not wide enough for my preference, much prefer a 24mm). I guess using the kitlens will give u a good idea on the type of lenses u would like to buy in the future.

I am sure, u will be able to take some amazing shots regardless of the lens u have, just takes some creativity to work around the limitations. I would really like to improve my photography as well, I need to be more creative. Thanks for the kind words btw. biggrin.gif

Never been to NZ. Heard a lot about it, saw photos here and there on Google. but found this real gem here.

Surely one of the most glorious countries it is. Totally agree with your words

It sure is one heck of a country. You should try to head there one day too. It really is worth it (especially the south island).
