I can use astro go to watch movie using my phone. It plays nicely at anytime and anywhere. But when it comes to screen mirroring to tv, it showed blank.
Any solution for this ?

Most likely the problem is that the resolution on your phone is not supported by your TV. I'm not sure if you can change your phone resolution though but try play around TV resolution as well

If you have hypptv u can install astro go. No need mirroring.

the app is fussy, doesn't connect to tv with certain mirroring apps.

if yr tv has chromecast/ggogle cast, it will work... but won't get full screen.

better still, get a right box, install app to connect to tv.

astro problem

1. Firstly u must install ES File Explorer. Watch here

2. Download chrome browser apk, astro go apk and astro go web plugin. Saved all that apks into your thumb drive

3. Plug in your thumb drive into usb port on your hypptv stb

4. Choose My Applications screen on your hypptv main screen

5. Choose ES File Explorer and access your thumb drive. Copy all above apks and save into a local folder named Download

6. Once copied you can start installing the apks. Install chrome first. Then Astro Go.

7. Go back to hypptv main screen and choose My Applications. You should now see Astro Go and Chrome icons.

8. Start Astro go. It will ask you to chose browser. Select chrome. If it ask for web plugin, locate the plugin in Download folder as mentioned in step no 5

9. If it does not ask you for plugin, good. Just login into your astro go using your astro login id.

10. That's all there is. You shd now able to run astro go using hypptv stb.

That was all I did and worked for me. Good luck.

this mod version astro go can bypass screen mirroring block.....thanks to the effort of silentDC

anyway, i think try to keep low profile otherwise sure astro will come out with remedies to block it again.

Is the mod apk working for you? Somehow, I tried it in my android box tx3 mini, keyed in the user name and password, it does not let me to login. It refreshes and gets back to the username and password page. Not sure what's the problem.

Yes, it is genuine ID/PW. It works in my iphone. Just not working in the android box.

Then shd be something related to webview....u may update Android webview and google chrome to latest version and see it helps?

Another possible reason i guess is not proper unroot....i personally use impactor universal unroot to unroot all my android boxes...so far 100% success to unroot with 1 click only....but I'm not very knowledgeable about root/unroot....u may at ur own responsibility to choose using this apps as i know some fail unroot will cause brick box.

Still works on my samsung note 9...please bear in mind if u r using Android tv version devices such as smart tv, xiaomi tv box, nvidia shield i think the problem due to astro doesn't want u watch astro go on tv....solution is buy Android mobile version devices such as china cheap brand tv box...

Another solution is plug cpu/ laptop to tv and watch using google chrome

Hi, sorry tumpang this thread, but it's just a simple question. I want to connect astro go from my device to bigger TV through hdmi cable. Astro being overprotective does not allow this. Any workaround for it?

DRM protection. Workaround is using a laptop to connect to your TV.

Yes correct so far only works with laptop. I tried using tablet, cannot be done.

yup, this is the only way for now, can't even mirror it except for plugging in cable.
