Planning to resign without job offer as well.
The urge is like more than 60% to 70%.

Those who said tender first due to 3 months notice, why don’t u guys pay the old company after u secure a new job instead of resigning without any job offer? Isn’t it always better like that or there are some hidden factors as well?

I never do that before but from my analysis; because, at the end of the day it involves payment from own pocket? If someone is earning 4k/mth, a payment in lieu of 3 months period will be 12k edi, assuming no more AL to deduct. 12k is a huge sum for an individual. Not all companies is willing to pay for the notice period.

Whereas if you tender and serve the notice period (since no job in sight), you can just clock in sharp, ular here and ular there, clock out sharp and your gaji still rolling in for the next 3 months. Then on last day can just MIA if wanna avoid those pesky farewell parties. lol

But at least u can have a confirmed income after u left the company even though u have to pay on your own for the short notice. Rather than tender 3 months notice and then after that use your own savings to survive for god know how long. I’m actually in between these 2 scenarios - either to pay on my own for the short notice or resign with 3 months notice without any job offer.
