I did it what you mentioned, currently on the 2nd month without job. smile.gif

But one thing I did it because I have less commitments and because of 3 months notice. sad.gif

I resigned without a job once and found a job during notice period.

Was quite worried at first also that it’ll drag on until my last day in the co.

Few years down the road when you're ready to upgrade from your A-class, I can hook you up with even better wheels for you to attract more prospects.

I hate my previous job too much, hence I left. But also combined the fact that I had to put in a 3 month notice. Not much companies would wait for you for 3 months or buy you out as well.

Think objectively, there is no guarantee the next job won't have a shitty boss or a hostile working environment. If you apply from Jobstreet, there is a chance the opening was left vacant from the same kind of employee who couldn't work along with his immediate superior.

But if the current job reaches a breaking point, then no choice but to take the plunge of venturing out for another opportunity.

All the best TS!!

Ha, yes. Another job related thread in kopitiam. I have been contemplating to tender my resignation since September last year but I have been holding back due to various reasons. One of it is I have no job offer currently that will encourage me to throw the letter to my HR dept.

For those fellow members in here who tendered without any job offer in sight, I really respect you guys for being so courageous.

yeah, you really have to have balls to quit without a job in sight. I have always told my myself and my friends that it would be really unwise to tender their resignation without a job in sight.....

Until one fine day, I found myself doing just that --- quitting my job without a job offer. I just could not take the working environment there anymore. Sure, I had commitments but it just came to a point where I could not take it anymore. I just didn't care anymore... I was just feeling so depressed there.
It wasn't just me that quit without a job, at least 3 other colleagues of mine also quit their jobs without a job offer.

Now I tell my friends, sure, you can quit your job without a job offer but make sure you have enough savings in your emergency fund to sustain your lifestyle for the next 6 months at least...

That's just me....

Last time I just resigned with 2 months notice without look at or find any job due to really cannot tahan with my boss..

But in my pocket already got at least 5 years experience.. after that i straight away find a job and luckily i got new job within 1 month..

Before you resign, please ensure that at least you have an 3 years of experience.. so if you find another job, you will not stay at junior level or semi senior level.. plus you can make a demand.. any nowadays, employer normally take people with experience to make them easy..
