Windows 10 Blurry Text on Multi Monitors

I have a problem with blurry text when using an external monitor with my laptop.
My laptop scaling is set to 125% while the monitor is set to 100%. Both are 1920*1080, but when I extended my desktop (laptop = main, ext. monitor = secondary), the text in the 2nd monitor is blurry. Anyone know how to fix it? |

After trying further, I notice that this might only happen when I open the app in my main screen (laptop) and then move it to the ext monitor...
still experimenting on how to get this to work... |
