can u just go into settings and find what version?

that will tell if it is too old or a proven good version, if something else is wrong.

if a year ago, it shouldn't be too old.

about firmware upgrade, u can read back... some need not do it...

some upgraded to tx3max firmware... some ran into problems... some like upgrade x but some others preferred y... seems mixed results.

my own experience was not too easy - took me quite a bit of work.

one other possibility is to simply get a new tx3max 2/16gb... think i gave u the seller link.

for rm12x or something like that and not 1k, it saves u all the headaches...

it depends what u will use it for.

if u want it for netflix hd, youtube... mibox s is better.

if u want astrogo, unifi playtv, tx3 max is better.

Using it for IPTV, such as XFLIX stream, YuppTV, and other underground TV streaming apps.

for ahem apps, my bet is on tx3max - regular android less fussy compare to ATV; tx3max has bigger storage.

Hye.. Long tyme not post here.. Anyone got trouble log in to astro on go on tx3 mini tonite.. Since yesterday happend to me.. During day it ok can log in.. But at night time after 8pm suddenly cannot log in into my account..
Even log in interface not appear.. Anyone got the same problem?

log in? u key in id/pw one time, it remembers... next time, just start up the app, no more log in required.

last 2 days, i observed some sluggishness when starting the app; likely their server side.

takes a bit longer than usual for app to fully load but fine after that.

if u rush it, it may stall.

I got 2 tx3 mini in my house.. One using in living room and the other one at my bedroom.. Both already install astro go..at my living room seems i can watch astro go but no at the other one in my bedroom.. The interface doesnt come up to log in..
Already try swap the tx3 mini one another.. Still cannot function..i suspect tv problem.. Is there any setting regarding tv spec to watch astro go on tx3 mini

Try to change the resolution and refresh rate on the tvbox. Eg if it is already set to 4k, try 1080p or even 720p. If refresh rate is 60hz, change to 50 Hz.

try both boxes on a 3rd tv, see results.

the box is auto detect.. will set to what the tv can do, can't set anything higher.
