U gotta tell what vpn, what app u try to use, what isp, what speed, ethernet or wiifi.

People cannot help if u dun give details.

i am unifi, 100mbps ethernet. Using Free VPN tomato, tried Hola VPN not working

free vpn's are worthless.

even if u get it to work, it's only for 5 mins.

u can also try turbo vpn.

this is indeed strange... i pushed this astrogo app on my tx3 for hours... many times... it goes on, no problem, ethernet connection.

but it is probably true the app is not optimized, some devices may have some issues with the app alto they still work.
i have one other device which works well with this app but does get kicked out sometimes.
i wud then clear cache, go back in, it continues to work for hours.

pls recommend which seller got sell tx3 with got roof switch build in ?

all tx3 s905x3 android9 have root switch in settings.

When i played youtuve videos on my tx3, the quality of the video is not the same with the ones played on my ps4 eventhought they are playing at the same resolution (1080p). Is this normal?

True. Online stream or local playback, the PQ is not as good as better more costly boxes.

there are two types of boxes:

1. streamers - designed and built to stream online; driven by netflix, amazon prime apps - most costly ones are shieldtv, appletv, firecube.
comes with full video and audio licensing for online streaming.
these can do local playback too but may not have some advanced features found in media players.

2. media players - primarily designed and built to do local playback of the biggest and most complex files.
most popular are oppo (and clones), egreat, zidoo, himedia.
they have their own native player apps and engines giving them superior video and audio capabilities compared to cheap boxes.
these can also do online streams but may be not optimized as they typically aren't licensed by google, netflix, etc.

The prices from Chinese sellers (TV box specialist sellers) are there and there about based on the 2 links above. Local sellers will be higher generally. If you are new to TV boxes, recommend avoid non specialist sellers or pre-order status goods.

Given the condition of China right now, there are rumours that even Pos Laju is not handling packages to or from China. So do asks if any overseas sellers has issues sending packages out and if they disinfect their packages.

I suggest if you want to buy, do buy it quick - like some other industries, manufacturing of TV boxes has most likely stopped.

Used Tx3 mini for over a year and didn't realise it could do split screen.
YouTube mobile and YouTube Vanced example below. However split screen capabilities depends on individual app.

Hi , after i activate VPN then the network (ethernet) connection was disabled, then after i deactivate VPN it still doest work, however after i 'reset' the IP setting (DHCP ) then only the netword is connected back. I am using Nordvpn

Then activate the VPN, same thing happened again...sigh, any idea?
