kingston buy Nand from Toshiba for thier SSD product.
WD joint venture with Toshiba and share the Nand output from Toshiba Fab.
thus both product is relatively same nand.
the only different it the DRAM and Nand Controller.
if both has DRAM, then not much different in term of performance.

the other brand using toshiba brand is Plextor (LiteOn), Adata, Apacer and Phison which i know aware of.
lately Samsung also start to buy Nand from Toshiba even though they hv own nand factory.

Intel SSD is using Micron Nand.

Not true. Kingston buy NAND from anything they can get their hands on for their lower end range of their product stack. Thts some reviewers get different result when they benchmark different batches of the same product. Only higher end hyper x range kingston make it better.

Hello. You look at the price difference first. MX500 is a budget SSD not asking you to buy a Samsung 970 Pro. For a 512GB , it is listed at RM 349 at viewnet's website. Perhaps if you can bargain abit, you can get even cheaper. Remember it is 512GB not 480GB plus 5 years warranty.
