IKEA instruction manual is one of the easiest to understand.

I install all my IKEA furniture , wardrobe, kitchen ...no issues with the manual.  It's straight forward.  Even an illeterate can understand.

TS maybe not that smart to understand.

I didn't have problems too. Everything was simple and clear to me. And I have many furniture from Ikea...like assembling Lego for me.

I have read more engineering manuals than you did with ikea instruction sheets.

What i can say, it is not easy to understand that you can get straight to work.

1. sort out all parts first.
2. Skimp through and identify which parts for which.
3. Some are described vaguely that you really need to spend time to understand.
4. Dont screw up in a rush or you ruin the installation.

I yesterday go buy Ikea Malm Bed Frame, it cost me RM1899, come with 4 boxes and go back install DIY. 1 hour install also no finish because the bad instruction.

Then today want go buy mattress at normal mattress shop, shop say Ikea bed use their own mattress and bedsheet size wtf. I thought you can use queen bed size mattress and bedshit and quill.

The size of the bed frame is 150cm x 200cm.

How? What do now? Can use queen size or die2 need Ikea mattress? mad.gif

I've done the same shit 2yrs ago, lepas beli baru tau.
No choice, buy another mattress from them.

After few weeks i dun like the mattress. I refund both mattress and bed frame.
Mattress is fully refunded, bed frame im not sure already forget, 50% or 80% something.

FYI.

Later i went PJ warehouse brought mattress and frame. Big, cheap and comfort not more than RM1800/RM1600 (forget also).

I checked website.

It's OK to change your mind
So long as you retain your original receipt, you can return an unassembled item in its original packaging within 365 days for a full refund.
Do note that our return policy does not apply to cut fabric, plants, unwrapped bed linen, kitchen appliances, custom-made worktops or products damaged upon leaving the store.
If the return criteria are not fully met, we may refuse the return or offer an exchange or an IKEA Refund Card.

Love it or exchange it
When it comes to mattresses, we offer something special.
You may exchange your mattress once within 365 days if you don't love it, provided your merchandise is not found by IKEA to be dirty, marked, damaged or abused.

TBH i don't know why people keep going Ikea to buy those bulk furniture, it is almost same price or higher than furniture shop.

Mattress and bedframe for queen size selling at RM2-3k like that. Ikea bedframe alone already cost RM2k, not include mattress and installation. Furniture shop kasi free delivery and installation.
