Anybody have any experience of claiming back LAD for common area (for newly completed condo)?

The admin person from my developer has shown me a calculation that they will pay me the LAD for the unit. But when I enquire about the LAD for common area, she said she is not in a position to answer me and ask me to write to their GM.

Did any of you try to claim the LAD for common area before?
