Dear all Zenbook Asus users,

need your help here to help me to choose which one should I choose..13" or 14"?
14" seems cheaper than 13"..

BTW any Zenbook users can share with me the problems with zenbook models throughout these years?
Speaker problem? heat problem?

Also planning to get zenbook,
Just wish got 16gb ram for 13/14 version....
The 15 inch too heavy....
Hope Asus this time not fail me...

Got thermal throttling when playing games even low setting for few years ago game and even FIFA online 3..
the game only last 1 minute smooth.. the rest of it lagging like hell..
not sure is processor or GPU fault..
whoever wish to play games with ux433fn should aware on this issue...

If photoshop/design software feel lag...
Then I may need fall back to Dell xps.....

apparently once the resolution is changed, the game will not lag..
but you will feel the pain playing the game in 4:3 resolution..

Use HWiNFO64 to monitor the CPU and GPU speed to check which one is throttling down. The thing is, for the past 2 gens (14nm), Intel is actually riding through the 14nm process and increased the turbo to show they had progress. But in reality, the Turbo Boost TDP is set very much higher than the spec TDP. For example, a 45W i7-8750H has TDP set as high as 55W or 65W for Short Boost, depending on the laptop manufacturer.

The thing is, most slim laptops cannot hold the turbo for so long and very likely to hit the thermal throttle first. Once the thermal throttle is flagged, Win 10 will keep the processor at the lowest speed for a long time, although the temperature recovered after that. There's a fix for this but I recommend you to use Throttle Stop or Intel XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility) to downvolt your processor and lower down the TDP, to say 35W.

ya i got read about that one.. haven't try yet...

But bo bian, in the end now seldom play games.. want to prolong the battery and other components as long as possible.
Keep worrying about new stuff hahaha.

I already undervolted and tried running the gpu at lower clock speed but it doesn't stay there. Around 65C also it throttle sometimes
*
undervolt also same issues? wondering what is the solution for UX433 frame rate drop..
i noticed that once the resolution were changed, the games seems running smooth without undervolt..
anyone experience this with other model laptop (with MX150)?
