Lucky I waited and didnt buy any Redmi phone yet. I want this phone!

This phone has GPS issues. What the heck? Who releases a phone with GPS problems?

I msged MI Malaysia on FB earlier just now, they said they will be restocking this week.

I'm into Day 1 of using this phone. Here is my short review:

Pros
Battery is great, really power for full day or more normal to medium usage
Screen is really pleasing to the eye
GPS no problem
Night shot excellent
Calls clear
Reception ok

Cons
Camera bump is quite obvious (need to be careful where you place your phone, plan to buy a camera lens protector)
Its weighs quite heavy on 1 hand usage (if you add case plus glass protector, it will be quite a heavy phone)
MIUI OS takes up 9GB space
Sim1 slot not working properly (Maybe I need to set it up properly? Currently using Sim2)
Ads (But I just disabled all of them)

I have a question of my own, I have a Aukey QC4.0 charger but where can I find a QC4.0 cable?

Im using 32GB, after install all the necessary apps, I have around 18GB left.

No, didn't detect any lag when using it. Have 1.5GB available from the 3GB memory for normal usage

Subang Parade have stock for 64GB and 128GB.

Why does this phone lose data connection once or twice a day when indoors? Do you guys face any problem like this? Using 32GB MY model.

Yup, it doesn't do much for me also. Sometimes cannot even detect what I'm trying to shoot.

Does anyone use Gcam on RN7? Is it better than the stock camera?

This phone lags when launching apps especially Waze or Youtube or FB. It takes a few seconds before the app fully loads. I think it's the MIUI 10 is not optimized enough for Android 9.

GPS is a bit wonky. If you have bad network, it will take some time to regain the GPS back. Also when quiting Waze, the app just hang on me many times. Simple basic of exiting app can hang, 1st time experience an OS like this.

I'm using Aukey charger. It shows 'charging fast'

Hi guys, I'm facing data disconnection issues when not using the phone. This problem comes and goes, mostly happen indoors. Tried reset APN few times and the battery setting doesn't turn off data when phone is locked.

Anyone can give solution for this problem?

When is MIUI 11 coming?

Today, my phone have screen flicker issues, when using fingerprint to unlock to in app. It will sometimes flicker once.

When fingerprint unlocking to homescreen, no flicker issues. There was no such in MIUI 10, now its the MIUI 11 giving problems like this.

Not using any theme, all normal. Tried restart few times still same issue.
