hi guys, any idea how to transfer all datas (call history, contacts, settings etc) from xiaomi phone (RN4) to RN7?

i've been using, among others, mi mover, mi pc suite, & other 3rd party app to move but some of my datas, especially call history still not updated (only 2016 call history moved into RN7..lulz..)

After using the RN 7 for about 4 days now, encountered some minor issues:-

1. volte is disabled on my phone, even if i have activated thru the telco (digi), so it needs a special code to enable volte option under sim card management & restart of the phone for the feature to be enabled.

2. the notification icon will disappear after 3 seconds when receiving incoming emails, whatsapps, etc..is it an intended feature under Miui or what, i dunno..but very strange..even if all the notification icon app has been enabled under the settings..

3. cannot change notification sound on yahoo, gmail & even wechat..except for whatsapp..there's no options to choose notification sound or such..again...a bit weird..

maybe i try to clear cache, or do a hard reset on the phone see how..but overall, quite a good upgrade from my RN4..bigger & brighter screen, improved features on android P vs N..battery life quite good so far..

but my old RN4 has that options bro..that's why it's funny this new version of miui doesn't have those options..maybe got bug on the app..ahaha

i see, yes..it could be my set is the China set on my RN4.. both yahoo & gmail has the options to select sound there..

what about ur current RN7, does it have those options?

actually, the prompt operator check disabled must appear first, then u go to sim card settings, under Digi, u will see the volte options appear..enable it & then restart your phone to see the effect.. hope it helps

i've got to agree with you..this one prove to be quite useful..another spare sim for places that do not have strong coverage..

hey guys, i'm just wondering if u guys ever experienced this one bug on RN7 whereby when you're on an app, like example, whatsapp for 5-10mins, then when you click the `back' button, normally it will go back to our main homescreen right?

but, in my case, when you click back button after opening an app, it will somehow stuck at `overview / recent' page where you normally kill apps to free some rom cache..each time i'll have to tap the back button twice to go back to homescreen..it happens to almost all apps that i've opened, chrome, whatsapp, wechat, ymail, gmail..etc..

what would likely be the problem? is there got to do with the launcher that i'm using (nova)? hmm
