QUOTE(se800i @ Jun 17 2019, 08:49 AM) I just bought the Redmi Note 7. but got people told me that the GPS for Mi phone below RM 1K is totally useless.... Since you have that phone, install Waze and GPSTest, flip on the GPS then u can draw your own conclusion as to whether it's really "totally useless" or not.anyone can clarify here? |

QUOTE(ckweng @ Jun 18 2019, 01:43 PM) Actually my Umobile + GPS work fine on my ancient Redmi Note 2, i wonder why newer models have issues with the telco when it comes to GPS locking. Maybe the GPS module they use is lower grade ?QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 18 2019, 02:07 PM) they never improve also over the years... Really depend on area, coverage and density of the users.yet some still want die die use their services... says it's cheap & affordable... I ask, if cheap/affordable but cannot use also useless |

QUOTE(RioMeni @ Jun 18 2019, 05:02 PM) From the feedback of Chinese forum, I noticed that charging is capped at 18W even for QC4 so the benefit of jumping from 3 to 4 is minimal. However the jump from 2 to 3 is significant even though both are only capable of 18W as QC 3 provides more power negotiation interval. |

Seen 12w quick charge 3.0 on YouTube before 6volt / 2amps |

QUOTE(culain99 @ Jun 19 2019, 05:31 PM) Got proof it charge at 18w with usb voltmeter? Quick charge usually charge a little more conservative from 0% to 10% and 80% to 100% to reduce the stress on the battery. Between 10% and 80%, usually it will negotiate up to 18W.Seen 12w quick charge 3.0 on YouTube before 6volt / 2amps From this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXeXOxmm2M0 , I saw it can goes up to 17W which is not 18W nut still somewhere close to that. |
