Hi, sorry for my noob quetions but hope you guys can help me out before i head to the apple stores.

Hi, finnally i've decided to get myself a MAC PRO 2.6ghz , for my video works & Maya... the package just fitted my ever small budget.

I was wondering, since the package in mac pro comes with only 1 GB (2x512mb) Ram, was wondering would it work if i buy

2 GB ( 2x 1GB) Kingston PC5300 DDR2 RAM 667mhz = Rm 115 eacg roughly. to add in my current MAC PRO installed RAM. So i would get 3 GB RAM running ?

1 GB(2x512mb) + 2GB(2x1gb) = 3GB

will it be advisable ? or it's better to have all 1gb rams in only rather then mix with 512mb rams & 1 gb rams.

thanks,
