Hello, sorry to ask such a question, but just want to know, is it acceptable to use 2 different set of tyres ? For example im using michelin ps4 on the front , and primacy 3 on the back, would this setup affect the driving performance or anything ?

Is totally fine, you can change tyre in a set of 2 or 4. Must be either 2 front or 2 back. There are draw backs, we aren't racers so don't worry about it.

Or The newer set of tyres should be at the back, the older set of tyres should be at the front. Assuming both sets are new, PS4 should be at the back, primacy should be at the front, for the best performance setup

Getting Started

if get a good tyre need to have 4 side same. only can perform, or else waste $ just install 2. Due to unable to fully deliever the capability rear tyre every 10k km need to do swapping with front in order to have all 4 tyre complete life span together.

Just to prevent from creating another topic, I have changed my 4 old tyres to all 4 michelin ps4, my old tyres used to be 2-2 2 primacy 3 in the front, 2 xm in the back, so now that i have changed to all 4 same tyres, what can i expect from all 4 same tyre and also from ps4 itself ?

Expect a lot better grip, handling, stability, and shorter braking distance. Excellent choice!

Ahhh i see wow, so i'll be feeling a whole lot more different driving experience ! I did felt that my brake was even more " sharper " when i only press on the brake pedal a little, is that part of the effect of ps4 ?

PS4 would improve your braking as the grip/traction is much better than Primacy not to mention the even lower XM2.

I have change 2 of my 4 years EP200 to Dunlop J5 at front. As the other 2 still lot of tread so the tyre shop guy say can continue use it.
Even just change 2 new tyre, also can feel the brake is much much better, shorter distance. At first, i thought is the pad low quality as still tick.
Boss tell me no need do allignment based on he observed my old tyre. First time, change tyre shop didn't ask to do allignment.
