The rear is seriously ugly, way uglier than the older model.

I guess with Proton having a China car company as a foreign partner unlocks the ability to copy design elements from other models.

This update has a rear bumper inspired by the Myvi 1.5 SE.

4. Redesigned front part and back bumper
5. for 1.3 VERSION changed to 4 or 5 speed DSI sourced conventional gearbox with torque converter.. this one will apply for the next SAGA FL...

Not changes

1. the badge .. still proton
2. 1.6 and 1.3 NFE engine from Campro N/A (like before)
3. Punch CVT for 1.6 with more refined tuning..

If taken from Persona forum, the new TCU software is pre loaded from the factory if you get latest 2018 batch.

They claim no more sudden "jump" or jerky feeling from a standstill, now has a dampened type of response. As for noise, we dunno yet lah.

If like that then the CVT still liveable. Maybe Proton save all the new stuff for a 2nd gen Iriz.
