Bought it at automarquest pj when changing my brake pad there. Maybe price combo discount hence rm180 applied

I read a lot of facebook discussion telling that car battery chargers could actually make your battery lasts longer.

Eventhough it is not entirely false, we have to first understand that our car alternator is already doing the job for you. And your battery is perfectly fine if :

1. Your alternator is charging fine
2. You drive long enough enough to recharge the battery

If these 2 conditions were met, buying a charger is a waste of money

Lancol Micro 200 Pro is good.

Not only can it test the battery, it can also test the charging system (alternator).

Using multimeter is similar to plugging a volt meter into the ciggy socket.

Last week my father's car had a flat battery, towed to a workshop, and they called saying battery is dead. I brought the Lancol to the workshop, test it in front of the mech, told him to jumpstart the car & I drove it home.

Charge the battery full, start the car, saw the 'battery' sign in the meter cluster was on. Ordered a new alternator (RM180) from Lazada & replace it myself.

Have those tools in hand, mech can't easily fool u.

But then again ah dude, if it was alternator issue, you shouldnt be able to drive it home with a flat battery.

Battery is used only to start your car. After that alternator takes over. Once your car started, technically you can remove it and your car wont have problem running. But if alternator, your car wouldnt last to be driven.

I doubt that it is the ONLY function of the battery.

It is! You can give it a try. Start your car, remove your battery. And you should be able to drive around with no issue.

That's weird, I remember seeing and reading out the word AGM Battery on the sticker in front of the Sales Advisor when it was launched.

Anyway from a DIN60L to NS70L macam down-grade je.

Just to let u know, the early batch of x70 is using battery Din60L (60ah).
Later revision( assembled in bolehland) is using battery NS70L which is way cheaper.

The base of the battery is NS60 size. So yeah you can fit a big terminal NS60 size into the car. NS40 big terminal is a super rare size, dont bother finding one. Im pretty sure the SC will also fit you a NS60 size if you perform a replacement.
