I am a returning player. I too have stopped before the release of Gen 2 and it was fun catching all new pokemons. Like those mentioned before, there are raids, daily quest, trading, battles, etc. The only problem I am facing is that I don't have enough players in my area to participate in legendary raids.

Nope. Not rural area. It is in a shopping mall. Lots of legendary raids but only me trying to complete it alone. Kinda sad.
