As announced by Finance Minister on Budget 2019, SPA stamp duty will be waive for property up to RM 1 mil for the period of 1st January 2019 to 30th June 2019.
Anyone here can help to clarify whether the date stated for SPA stamp duty exemption for first house buyer is Date of the Agreement or the LHDN stamping date.
For my case, I'm a first house buyer and is a under-con project. My SPA date of agreement is dated 11/12/2018 and my SPA LHDN stamping date is 2/1/2019. Hope that anyone here can help to clear my doubt. If follow LHDN stamping date then i can apply for the first home buyer stamp duty waiver, but if follow SPA agreement date then im doom.
