My suggestion is stick to his job better la.....after quit driving Grab I feel like there are much better opportunities can make you rich faster , Grab just drive car je, 6-7k/month is like what?

High mileage reduces your resale value. So depends you do e-hailing for how long. If you do e-hailing for 6 months then found a job, you add another 30,000km mileage to your car. But if you only sell after let's say 8 years, those extra 30k mileage won't be significantly more than other 8 year old car, so won't affect your resale value. Unless you want to sell when car is 3 years then it looks higher than other cars.

Just go to service centre (different from the one you usually go to if you are afraid they recognise you) to ask if they honour your warranty if you use your car for e-hailing. I don't know about Honda, but in the Perodua owner's handbook, they have a T&C that says warranty won't apply to cars used as taxis. If you claim warranty, take out the JPJ e-hailing stickers and just deny it has been used for e-hailing if asked. Hopefully the service centre guys won't take the trouble to access mysikap to check for your AH vehicle code.

It is compulsory to buy e-hailing add-on insurance, on top of your regular private car insurance, if you do e-hailing. So if you have an accident while doing e-hailing, claiming insurance won't be an issue.

Your key consideration should be whether you have money to pay your installments and maintenance without a job, or get your beautiful 'resale value maintained' car repossessed if you can't keep up with installments.

Unless they are blind, they can see the stickers up front and backside mirror of the car.....or you are smart enuf to remove them. The sticker are just like "P" sticker  ]

im new driver like you. Downloaded the driver app but cant login as account not activated yet.

i submitted on 9th December, approved on 13th December and they send sms say can download driver app already.
So i just check and then can login to the driver app already.

So took mine 5 days only..

I apply evp with Crap green rental on 5th december but until now kirk kirk no news yet.

If at puchong, subang, cheras area no need avoid klia as distances just 50km+- and 70% trip on the highway. Q now mostly 400 -450 aka inside 1hr30mins. If dun wanna waste time waiting then just chiao terus 20km+ to cyber to get 1~2 short trips cover back return fuel cost.
    Outside supply > demand made the fare very low, SD very very very hard to get job. If u "lucky" to get 1 then mostly is a problem unwanted job and a long distances near to your dest, on the way short distance SD job hard to get as u r on the lowest priority. Turn off SD then there are chances to get unwanted place that just few hundred meters from avoided places. I avoided bukit bintang area but still can get grand hyatt jalan pinang, that's 700meters 1 corners to pavillion chulan entrance. To pick job or get out from that place..aiyo..CRAP..

Today my first day driving, from 7am - 1pm, only get rm142.30 , i start from puchong and end up in ampang. Tried using "My Destination", all the way from ampang to puchong, totally no luck to grab a single soul, was thinking am i doing it right, cause i key in exactly my taman, or should i key in generally puchong? What's the hot location to avoid on your list?

I’m staying in puchong. I realise I don’t get as much as you guys, I’m fairly doing 20-25 per hour only. I saw someone post 5am - 1pm can easily get 400, I tried and failed. 😂 got 260, not bad for the day for me.

Sent a rider from Kajang to Selayang Hospital in the morning at 7.15am. Price RM60.
Travel around 1.5 hours.
Wondering why got this job when i avoided Rawang, Selayang, Sg buloh? End up, realized that this hospital selayang is ngam ngam at the borderline. 
Then, set a destination to Semenyih. Really don't believe that it was actually no job came in. No one heading to KL? or ampang?
End up turn off the "find destination" and received incoming job at Jalan Ipoh RM......5.

Maybe I blur, but cannot find much info on being a Grab Rider. Sorry, if this is wrong place to post ya....   

So, I'm actually interested in giving a try as a Grab Rider. Anyone experienced hands here have their stories to share? Thank you in advance!

I'm around the Puchong, old klang road, OUG area, I read that for drivers it's a good place. However, I'm not so interested in Grabcar (dunno if they let you register as both. Maybe on days not so jam I be driver, other days Marc Marquez).

Usually for ehailing cars, police at RB will ask where you wanna go and just let you go. But if you got passenger, they need to show any documentation if they need to cross district.
