For cars owners who want to join, grab or grabfood better?

registered early Feb, got approved by grab after all the licensing late march, started driving yesterday xD

so funny that i didnt know to click the destination to open waze / google map , took me a while to realize how to open the waze,

is there easier option to set to auto waze the next location instead of having to press one by one , quite dangerous if job auto accept halfway driving and need to keep pressing to accept job, open map,

can do while u stop at traffic light or situation when less attention on road is needed..such as driving in straight road with no vehicles at the side and back..

last time lagi jialak, manual accept the pings, driver get to see the fare, pick up point and drop off point prior to accepting the pings.

after a while u will get use to it...or just offline till u drop off the pax..then online again. of course that is not so efficient lah.

bad is places u drive to normally is unfamiliar, dono suddenly got pothole or hidden lane where vehicles normally comes out xD

now auto accept even though never touch acknowledge hmmm, yesterday drop off someone, while helping to unload stuff, got someone already waiting for me and ask me is this ur car for grab then see the phone, eh already accept even never acknowledge

wont offline first cos sometimes new job available when otw to destination don wan to lose out customer

normally wat time / which location got alot grab request? besides shopping mall , kl sentral, bukit bintang

follow your city time booster time table.

usually you won’t get it wrong. but need to consider traffic conditions at your area too.

p/s: corona virus change a lot of things. some pre-mco hot areas become not hot anymore. and I have stop driving for a while already.

That is the problem with grab driver app, it require so much driver attention and clicks when incoming new job before driver able to start navigating to customer pickup destination. It is very dangerous especially when you're driving during the incoming job.

Once you receive new request, on grab driver app you can touch the arrow icon at right side next to the passenger's pickup/dropoff address and it will auto navigate directly if you're using google maps. But, if you click on the customer's pickup/dropoff address name you will need to click ok on the confirmation popup, so extra step needed.

Waze on the other hand got extra step where after you click arrow icon from grab app, then you need to click "GO" at the waze pin location then "GO NOW" or swipe down the notice after it calculate the fastest route. Actually, grab can skip the click "GO" step, like clicking links below then you just need to click "GO NOW".

what if while driving, accept job touch on phone, police see will saman ka ?

I registered and received sms requested to go GDC to verify all the documents but on their website show closed down until further notice.

How do I submit all documents requested ?

will the rates in the grab include TOLL fee as well?

sometimes when i click the destination, waze will use toll road, do i ask the rider if wan pay extra toll or memang the toll included in fare? hmm

Toll not included in the fare.
You can put the toll amount inside the app before completing your job.

what if put already but rider doesnt want to pay

or what if they pay by grabpay, after i put the amount auto credit to me?

also during class, trainer said that in the event that rider run away without paying after reach destination, where is the button to report for grab reimbursement? xD

when you click drop off, you can put toll charge there. customer no choice will pay lel.

if rider run away, dont end trip first, call grab cs tell them what is happening.

Hi to all ex or senior members here, I have just started Grabcar few days ago. I have experienced less than 3 riders from 7am~12pm... and mostly idling no rider for more than 2hrs... Did checked my apps n phone, nothing wrong, even called help centre to verify. Would appreciate if any sifu here can enlight abit on the hot spot or lubuk jerung if any... I tend to drive full time from 7am~5pm Many thanks in advance
