if u start at Klang, tough time. If u start at KL area, still ok.

I treat it as part time, still manage to get RM25-30 net per hour, but once i thrown into place like Serdang, Cheras Mahkota or Ampang Ukay Heights, i need to pray hard to get a job out. Those outskirt area just have too much drivers or lesser demand. Even places like Sunway Subang has so many drivers even without the HG scheme.

For those who think coming July will be a good time because of flushing out part timers, please think twice after looking at Singapore situation.

I agree that it transfer the risk to driver. Basically Grab is a big casino and house will put risk to driver. Its a gamble, sometimes i get fare 15+15 TBB for 3km trip and 2km pick up with moderate jam.

Its really a gamble. Sometimes i did get RM15 4km trip no TBB with 30mins traffic jam (pavilion mostly).

If Im using GrabPay, do I have to pay toll by cash or the driver can charge me via app?

Any cards you recommend to get discount on fuel pump ? Currently using CIMB Cash Back which can give me 2% rebate everyday on the petrol but dont seem to worth it. Last month used about 480 and only got 11 bucks rebate.

Half way, the driver received a call from 'Honey', and talked for 5 minutes. He was using hands-free. Still, that's a distraction.

GRAB'S PLAN FOR 2019

1) The preferred plan - Grab will no longer deduct a commission based on percentage. Instead drivers will be paid based on mileage & minutes. There will be a normal km&min rate along with a dynamically set one based on surges. SURGE itself will no longer be associated with a multiplier. During a surge, passengers will of course be hit with a multiplier but drivers will only be paid extra surge cents per km&min. The difference between the two is Grab's profit.

This is to be the new deal for both new recruits and existing drivers (existing drivers logging into their app will be greeted with a 99 page TOS to which they will have to agree in order to continue grabbing)

All this is only possible if everyone's using grabpay. (driver app will not show passengers fare only his earnings; this is essential) Since majority are cash transactions this plan is doomed or at least shelved until the cashless future is here.

They got give tips ok la. Most of my bangla rider is 3-4pax,  no tips, fare < Rm8, 80% no TBB
Their muslim name is a bit different and some will put weird name, pick up point (bangla shop, factory ) and time (morning weekend) some time after arrived see 4pax with trolley I'll cancel choose too many luggage option. So far I never get tips from bangla kena cheat by them got la. Only received tips from Indonesian and Myanmar rider before.

Anybody know whether grab have already finalised regarding PSV?

Inside KLIA, right after customs, I saw a Grab counter, but nobody was manning it.

Wondering what that's for

As for the calculation of toll, Grab counts it toward your collected gross, and you need to pay TnG for top up. So accounting wise, it has to be shown even though they cancel each other out.
