Owners will need to lower the spare tyre each time they need to check the pressure. Foresee many Aruz running about with soft spare tyre.

The punctured tyre will probably end up in the back of the car because it needs to be patched up asap. Hopefully owners will remember to pull up the chain holding the spare tyre before driving off.

I got my Aruz on Feb 3rd . Within 4 days , have completed 1500km .. East West Highway done from Kuala Terengganu to Perlis and back . A week after , done Kuala Terengganu to Cameron via Gua Musang . Last week , done Kuala Terengganu to KL .

For family car , I love it . My kids have no complaint sitting at the back . They are comfortable then I'm fine .
I have no problem handling even on uphill ride.
My wife love it as she will be the one using it .

If you are looking for speed and power , this is not your thing.

I just got my car yesterday, SA gave me a few pleasant freebies as well      .

Took it for a drive around Penang, everything seems good. My family is very happy with it especially those at the 3rd row. They mentioned that 3rd row is surprisingly spacious once you sit in it. Handling was good as well.

Pickup-wise, well its not meant to go 0-100 in 4 seconds. Unless you force the engine to grunt, it drives very smooth.

There were 2 areas to be improved though.

1. Radio/Speakers. Audio quality is just....soft and poor.

2. Getting into the car especially for old people. The car is quite high, without any sidestep available.

Driving around 150km in stop-go condition in city, consumed about 2 bars.

I'll need to wait until my next pump to determine how the FC is like. So far drive and comfort are a positive experience.

Remember that this is a practical car that get you from point A to point B without the added gadgets and gizmos.

If you pust armrest, you'll lose three cupholders which i think really sucks coz during driving cannot put drink anywhere.Perodua should put the cup holder near the dashboard like BRV and Ertiga..

i spotted another defect on my wife's aruz, the engine hood paint finishing is uneven. You may thought that is some reflection but it wasn't. It look like some dirt on the paint itself but you can't clean it. A further check even able to observe that the clear coat are not applied evenly.

guys, watch out your rear shock absorber. some owners feedback it's leaking

Recall Perodua Aruz, change a defect spare tyre without any cost incurr.

Perodua Aruz, manufacturing batch Jan - Jun 2019 have a defect at spare tyre, due to poor Engineering Design by manufacturer (DFMEA).

Perodua need to replace a new spare tyre immediately without any cost incurred.

Perodua Aruz driver have a fatality risk if the defect tyre exploded due to thin wall tyre.
