Hi, total newb here. Car just reached 30k, have to service soon. Wondering what kind of thing will void the official perodua warranty if I DIY the car?
if your aim is to remove "excessive" items to reduce weight for fuel consumption improvement, remove spare tyre, can cut a lot of weight. kinda think that rear spoiler might have some aerodynamic effects, maybe....
Yea, read the warranty book from cover to cover. Under the topic what will nullify the warranty, section 5-d, they specifically said "any parts or accessories equipped, installed or fitted by any third party other than Perodua Service Center". Assuming that oil change and oil filter is considered as car part, I think it's safe to assume that it will void the warranty. And the FAQ on their website also said the same thing. What a bummer.
But they didn't say anything about DIY service job. The owner is not a third party.
i believe diy servis is acceptable when use big brand and equivalent grade. personal opinion^
this car is so light to drive compare to what reviewer tolded heavvy. easy ride easy carry easy park. new brake not eat but i know reason is drum brake require fix2 je. well experienced from old nissan & innova.
i actually have passengers most of the time and practically the middle seat is useless because of the buckle protruding right from it. The buckle on the left is also a major concern. This is not even a minor inconvinience but a major problem.(Literally pain in the ***)
