EA Access will be coming to PS4 in July
currently it's available for Xbox & PC at USD4.99 monthly or USD29.99 yearly

But the actual price for Malaysia PSN haven't announce yet
I suspect should be around RM20 monthly

based on the EA Access site, Malaysia is not on the list, where as our little dot neighbor down south, and northern tomyam is available doh.gif

oh well, nothing much to loose for me anyway, since I'm not a fan of EA sports, and EA's recent games are kinda mediocre...

WTH i was really looking forward to getting EA Access

I know it's pretty much impossible but I wish I can revisit FIFA games from previous console generations just for old time sake playing with the rosters of yesteryears and the nostalgic soundtracks of each edition
*
What do you mean impossible? You can buy FIFA 14-18 for dirt cheap physical copy. Then the ones before that you probably have to try finding on PC, or PS3.

I got the scuf vantage last year and I sold it after a week. Proper trash. I am using a Xbox elite controller now using an adapter.

How is the performance of the Xbox elite controller with the adapter? Any issues encountered so far?

Was thinking to get this same setup or the Nacon Revolution Unlimited
*
The controller is great apart from the grips which start peeling after awhile. Got a Scuf replacement grips to solve the issue.

That’s very good news.
Hate needing to buy new controllers with every iteration.

Yea but the new one has some special motors inside right? I really hope Sony releases a Pro controller.

Seagate or WD will do the job. Remember to buy at least 250GB storage.

If want to improve the game loading speed, I recommend SSD. I am currently using Samsung T5 Protable SSD. Works like a charm!
*
I am using a 1TB SSD replace internally, I don't really notice the difference. Only time I notice a drastic change is when the game downloads and its in the copying phase (which takes forever on the stock HDD).

Are you sure? Did you ever play Monster Hunters, RDR2, Spiderman, FFXV? If you installed SSD, the loading time in those games (especially AAA titles) will be reduced to at least 30% of it.  It's been proved that SSD does help to reduce gaming loading time significantly since years ago. And a lot of testing videos could be found in youtube.

*
I am just basing that of my real world usage. I personally apart from "copying" part of a download or installation don't notice a significant change.

So sad sad.gif Really looking forward to trying it out since I play a lot of FPS, but don't wanna splurge on an Xbox Elite / Scuf controller
*
I have an elite controller and I think its great. Also had a Scuf Vantage but I hated it so I returned it.

send in for repair if it's still under warranty

else you can DIY to replace the thermal paste with a quality one

FYI, the thermal paste used in PS4 are of inferior quality one, and was poorly applied
I've open mine (PS4Pro) and discovered majority of the paste already caked up, and worst of all, it doesn't cover the die surface properly

then replace mine with thermal grizzly kryonaut, no more jet engine noise
*
I tried to open up mine, but the screws are impossible to open, I tried various torx screw heads.

you're using the wrong torx screwdrivers then
PS4 uses TR9 6torx security screws, normal torx screwdrivers won't be able to open it, as it won't fit
better go buy a new set if you plan to open it up to service yourself
Last I check, most Daiso or Mr DIY is selling those screwdrivers set
*
No wonder, I actually had to destroy one of part of the screw surroundings (covered by the warranty sticker) to get the case to open. And once I open I couldn't unscrew anymore haha. Thanks for the tip.

Is it worth for get 1tb external hdd or better to get 2TB? This modern warfare game is getting too large for the 500gb to install more than one game

Saw a 2gb external selling on shopee for 127
*
Those shitty seagate ones are fake. Good brand 1TB are 150+, 2TB 260+. I recently bought 2x 2TB WD blues for a total of 500 (after coins and whatever discount) on shopee.

My PS4 Pro has a 1TB SSD bought for 400 ish I think. But SSD is just a luxury, you hardly notice it (unless during updates or installation).
