Hi, does Sony centre repair out of warranty ps4? if yes, bring to them better or to retailer better in terms of cost and service?

Hi, anything I can do with my faulty ps4 (motherboard) if i choose not to repair it? sony service centre quoted rm550 too expensive...can sell or anything?
