Can I ask a noob question? If I want to buy a digital game from another region, can I use our Malaysian debit card in a R1 or R2 account to buy? Cause the game that I want to buy is not available in English in Asia region.

QUOTE(r2t2 @ Jun 4 2020, 07:27 AM) Not sure about nowadays, but most probably cannot, coz your debit card address need to be in the same region. Oh I see. Guess I need to buy some PSN credits. Thanks for the reply.Usually gamers buy PSN credit for R1 or R2, then only buy the games. Got several sellers in Garage Sales, and some websites ... compare the rates before buying lor. |

QUOTE(tomato people @ Jun 4 2020, 01:05 PM) Noted bro. Thanks!QUOTE(r2t2 @ Jun 4 2020, 04:11 PM) Sometimes, you'll actually get a better rate buying from those sellers, compared to using debit/credit cards. Nowadays, not sure tho ... long time I haven't top up my US PSN credits. I see. Saw one shop in Shopee sellling 60$ card at RM 213. Seems reasonable I think? Assuming legit of course.I remember when the rate was around RM4 to USD1 last time, I bought USD50 from a seller at a price with rate of RM3.80. But you'll get 'leftover' credit balance in your R1 PSN account ... not a problem if you'll buy again from R1 PSN Store. |

I hope this question is not against the forum rules, but anyone knows how those digital PS4 games sold on Shopee works? Those seller usually have two tier, premium and basic. Apparently, basic you have to play on the PSN account they give, while premium can play on our PSN account. And seller always warn not to change password of the account they sell, so I don't think we own the account after purchase....
Thanks. |
