I'm using a Bravia kd49x7500f, running with a hdmi 2.0 on original ps4. As per video gif my screen occasional flickers to display 1080p at the information bar. I've tried changing from Port 1234 but to no avail. Granted it doesn't affect my gameplay, but it does irritates me.

Guys, kindly advise. I put up a post a few days back, in regards to my normal ps4 linking to my 4k TV. I enabled hdr in my ps4, but somehow the screen flickers as the above gif EVERY trophy pop up and screen shot.

I already selected enhanced 4k hdmi format, changed multiple hdmi cables and currently TV Sony Bravia x7500f.

This will not be a problem if I disable my console hdr, or change the video output to standard picture.

Would I benefit from hdr format in a non-pro unit? The colours definitely looks more lively

Is it normal for download speed to just achieve 15mbps? My unifi is 100mbps but phat ps4 running on 2.4ghz. Now set on Google dns as well.

My ps4 has been disconnecting from my unifi recently, like every 5 min or so. I've tried changing channel, mtu, but to no avail. Anyone knows what's wrong with the intermittency? It was fine last week.

I would say Talos Principle is an excellent game, nothing short of a marvel. Granted it is only a puzzle game, but if u love puzzles, this would be a great choice.

I would like to experience 4K gaming, but that would either mean getting a pro at the end life cycle of ps4, or be an early adopter of first batch of ps5 and be guinea pig. decisions, decisions.

my decision would certainly be influenced by any good limited edition for ps5.

I'm thinking of getting a pro, for the graphical enhancement since I have myself a 4k TV now. My dilemma is knowing a Ps5 release is imminently around the corner, a ps4 pro may not be the best choice. And also what shall I do with my ps4 vanilla? It is a DQ LE.

My argument to purchase a pro, I might not be an early adopter of Ps5, perhaps will wait for about a year later to see any defect in the pioneer batch. In the mean time, a ps4 may be adequate. And I can also sell the pro away, it could still be in 2 /3 years old by then.
