How is the performance of the Xbox elite controller with the adapter? Any issues encountered so far?

Was thinking to get this same setup or the Nacon Revolution Unlimited

The controller is great apart from the grips which start peeling after awhile. Got a Scuf replacement grips to solve the issue.

hello guys
i bought a new ps4 pro
immediately got the BLOD - no signal, cant go safe mode, usb port no response, had to hold power butto 17 seconds to off damn thing

so send back to Sony repair...about a week later, said the ps4 is repaired

tested on site, at least can go into menus/start up now

so went home, tried install GT Sport and Monster Hunter World.
Both games gave me the classic CE-34878-0 error.
Ok, maybe i should wait till both games fully update only run damn thing.

Waited fully download latest update, same message came out upon starting the game.

GTA V installed, no such message, so can i say its not hardware related?

Downloaded free games Fallout shelter - ok can run.

So how the heck do i fix this CE-34878-0 error?
I hope its not due to the repair from Sony...

Why do i feel the ps4 pro is a much inferior product than ps3, which has solid power button, lights to indicate standby/network/harddisk running
and less crashes

if ps4 has so many crashes, why bother buy a console rite?

anyway...enough rant...anyone any idea?

monster hunter world iceborne - fully updated...ran it...show me some grey with black dots screen, then go to CE-34878-0 error
then kick back to log in which user menu - selected either user will crash/freeze at the user selection screen

i suspect sony didnt successfully repair it?

I’ve not encountered this error.
But then again I don’t own MHW iceborne or GT sport.
Try deleting and re-installing those games?

not all PS4Pro is like this, guess you're the unlucky one that got a lemon unit

judging from your symptom, could be HDD related issue, try reformat it using a pc if possible, then re-initialize the system via safe mode

if the problem still persist after this, send it back again to the service center, could be a faulty HDD

well, according to their 'helpful' customer service which dont work on weekends ....
we still need to send back to repair centre, so they can diagnose what is wrong with it

if really cannot fix, then only AFTER management approval, can get exchange...also depends case by case

i feel cheated by Sony...sell defective product...clearly its a manufacture defect...should get to exchange

now i dont know whether should send it back to sony repair and wait another few weeks

depends on your option, option 6 initialize PS4 won't touch the system software, using option 7 will need you to have the firmware in usb

if you got a pc, why not try taking out the HDD to do a full format first, plug it back and perform the option 7 to see if that work
the most only takes a day time, if works, good for you
else just take it back for warranty claim again

in your case , they will diagnose the problem first but definitely you will get 1 to 1 exchange from sony malaysia

I guess it is not the diagnosis or repair, but rather the time loss attributed to waiting.

i have done the following so far:
1) safe mode - rebuild database = same problem after reinstall game

2) safe mode - initialise (reinstall system software) = same problem after reinstall game

3) Quick initialise from within Settings Menu (non safe mode) = same problem after reinstall game

4) now doing full initialise within Settings Menu (non safe mode)...waiting 3 hours

claim warranty....i duno how many times need to send for warranty.

they may only fix the problem we inform them. other problems we did not inform (which we may not know until experience it, just like the ce34878 code) we unable to tell them in advance

but i realised they installed monster hunter world already in my HDD when i collected it... was it the repair center who copied and test run? or was my unit a 2nd hand unit?

coz i still got 12 months warranty...and they will try to fix/repair it (their so call policy or SOP)
