also, buy PS+ subscription as much as possible now, later price will increase in August 2019 to RM159 for 12-months. now promotion only RM90.3 for 12 months

if u keep delay, later no more stocks left at sony store. yesterday i bought GoW at Sony Centre in Penang also the last unit. better decide fast

U can still bring it to Sony, just that they will charge you if warranty is over. As to compare between Sony or retailer, is like bringing your car to an official Toyota service centre or Ah Kong auto service.

Depends if this is the new PRO unit that has a quieter fan or still the old pro unit ? i actually am thinking of upgrading to the new PRO , the old pro all fan too noisy

I had that thought of that several times too.

if you're using the old noisy old Pro now and it's already past warranty, no point buying the new one just for quieter fan
better save the moolah for PS5

you can DIY to change the original poorly applied inferior thermal paste to something better

My damage is less than RM30 by changing & reapplying the thermal paste, and now it's a lot more quieter, no more jet engine noise
at the same time you can clean out the dust in there also
