Nexen tyres 165 60 14. Bought 4 units, 1 piece got buldge like this after 6 months. Another piece got same buldge after 8 months. What is the issue? Manufacturing defects? Need spend more money for replacement tho the shop accept trade in, but I still at losses. Fml

What is the adjustment policy & for how long?
Limited Warranty coverage is for a maximum period of 6 years from the date of manufacture or 5 years from the date of purchase.
Any tire manufactured by Nexen tire is warranted with free replacement against defects in material and workmanship for the initial warranty period which is the first 1.6mm (2/32”)of original usable tread or within 12 months from the period of purchase, whichever comes first. (the cost of mounting, balancing and any other service charges including applicable taxes are required to be paid by the owner.)
After the ‘Free Replacement Policy’ expires amount of credit will be determined by the percentage of original tread depth remaining on the tire.

Great info thanks a lot. Mine definitely meet all the criteria. May I know what is normally the time to be expect for refund under warranty? How many months?

It's manufacturing fault.
Can and should make claim against manufacturer, direct or through the shop concerned.
Likely on pro-rata basis.

For Korean tires, IMHO only Hankook is good enough for now.

Same shit happened. This is 3rd piece by nexen. Last time i replaced 2 unit, so the remaining 2 still being used. This kind of thing only happen when the tyres are put at front wheels. Will never buy this brand again.

Update for the claim, I received claim for the first unit in 5 months, pending for another. Slow claim, crap tyres probably only good for cold climate like korea.

Maybe can consider Goodyear Assurance Tires. 15"-17" Triplemax2 are good all-around tires.

Of the 3 Korean brands, Nexen is the lowest ranking. Hankook/Kumho much better.

Hmm I've never had a single bulge in more than 30 years driving various cars and tires! But I have only used low end brand once which was GT Radial more than 10 years ago and that was also for a relatively short time before I sold the car. Even for Hankook I only have tried the V12E2, not even their mid range or low end models. The most shit tire I have used in the last 10 years was only the Continental CC series that came stock with my wife's car but they didn't bulge, just shit grip.
