i prefer the color on the lumix.... it looks warmer and have a better sense of... livelihood..

Ya its a little over saturated...
But it seems like the tz1 has better contrast & sharper image... |

F20 render more faithful color i think, and it has more potential for post-processing.
TZ1 gives more pleasing color and good for direct print out from camera. Depends on what you need, i believe you can also fine tune the in-camera "sharpness, saturation and contrast" to suit your taste. |

lumix more saturation i will choose fuji bcs colour more natural!
fuji colour no too expose still can enhance colour in ps,but lumix colour too saturation even u desaturation ,highlight &shadow of the pic will be different out of natural alreadly! |

This is not an apple to apple comparison because both using different aperture, or even shutter speed. Take a look at the grass back ground, Lumix is sharper, Fuji is softer, different DOF.
When photo magazines or websites compares cameras, the setting is same for all cameras. |
