Am on prepaid digi new best v1 and have been noticing a lot of $ being deducted over the past few months even though I hardly make/receive calls, sms on it. I do not subscribe to any data plan for this.
Is there anyway that I can see how I am being charged for it? Thanks

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jun 29 2019, 02:30 AM) The old myDigi website has an itemised usage listing. https://connect.telenordigital.com/id/signinhttps://new.digi.com.my/cs/Satellite/Page/m...fault/DashboardUse your old login, not the new login associated with the new MyDiGi app. QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jun 29 2019, 09:44 AM) Ah, one cannot directly click that link from lowyat. It will redirect to the blue 'Connect by Telenor' due to 'referrer' cookie issue. https://new.digi.com.my/cs/Satellite/ecomm_...n=mydigi#mydigiMust click from here. soonwai, JohnLai Clicked on the link provided by JohnLai. Noticed that basically it goes back to mydigi apps which I have already downloaded. I don't think I ever had an old login, only have the new login for MyDigi apps (which when I log in doesn't show the itemised usage listing). Is there anyway to solve this or I will just have to call customer service/live chat? Thanks

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jun 29 2019, 01:17 PM) Just tried on my phone and MacBook in private windows. https://new.digi.com.my/cs/Satellite/Page/m...fault/DashboardClicking the above brought me to the "Sign in with your CONNECT account" page. soonwai Thanks a lot. Went to look and I got a lot of 'off net mo voice' and 'on net mo voice', most of the numbers I don't recognized (will double check the numbers again later). Anybody have this problem? A quick check on the net shows that there are digi customers complaining about this too. Can I get a refund? Sigh! Feel so cheated. Have been with digi for years and never bothered to monitor until I got digi apps recently and realized I have been topping up so frequently. Guess have been paying lots of unfair $ to digi over the years. Thought I was saving money but ended up was wasting $ This post has been edited by abcn1n: Jun 29 2019, 09:19 PM

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Jun 29 2019, 03:41 PM) Call CS and ask to turn off PAYU internet. Had similar problems before. I even turn off that number for a few days and noticed it still deduct RM0.50 to RM1 each day. I ask for refund for all the wrongly charged amount as well. Took a while with MCMC report to get the refund. QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jun 29 2019, 07:45 PM) Oh....this issue? Need to delete all APNs as well. Simply disabling 'mobile data" isn't going to help. Something about 4G standard itself requiring data access which for some reason Digi charged to customers even though customer doesn't turn on 'mobile data'. YoungMan I don't have internet data for this digi number, so guess won't have PAYU? JohnLai Do I need to delete APNs since I don't subscribe to digi internet data for this number? If need to delete, how to delete them? Thanks

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Jun 29 2019, 09:29 PM) Only Digi does this? How about other telco? PAYU means pay as you use, hence no subscription needed. YoungMan The digi number is inside a non-smartphone. So there's no way I can use internet. Thus, guess am safe on PAYU Just to share--With regards to your question on whether only Digi does this to JohnLai, well I have unifi data, calls and sms and so far no unusual charges from them.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 29 2019, 09:47 PM) It could be your no. got hacked since it's voice calls? Anyway, been using Digi for years (both prepaid and postpaid), never got charged unfairly except for one SMS subscription for a newly registered no. (could be a recycled no.) which was quickly solved by Digi and no more after that. That was just RM 1. Have no idea whether number is hacked. So far only recognize 1 number on the 'off net mo voice', 'on net mo voice'. Most of the time I hardly call/receive on this phone, so its pretty safe to say that almost all the numbers are not due to me. Thinking whether to write off the losses and when my credit is up, port to another provider or go and have a 'long talk/fight' with digi/MCMM. QUOTE(HippyTony @ Jun 29 2019, 09:49 PM) Hotlink is also famous for their PAYU. My wife’s credit was totally deducted a few months back. Hotlink gave her full refund. She never had this problem before and she has been with Hotlink for like 20+ years. If you are using Android phones you have to dig deep into the settings to stop this illegal deductions. She has no data plan, always hooked up to home WiFi. She only buys data on needs basis. Thanks for the feedback. Now have to be careful with what sim card provider I put in my android phone. Just remembered, I think redone is pretty safe on this so far. This post has been edited by abcn1n: Jun 29 2019, 10:04 PM

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jun 29 2019, 09:46 PM) My sister changed his 3G phone to 4G phone and encountered the legendary 50cent draining last year. Wasn't able to get refund. Login to Digi OCS and noted it was listed as 'data internet' . edit: Not sure if it was "data internet" or "mo voice" thing, can't recall. Double checked and ensure the "Mobile data" disabled and still got 50cent draining. (4 - 6 instances for 1 second per day!!!!!) Deleted all APNs at "Mobile Network settings"---> "Access Point Names" and problem solved. Total amount drained was RM80 plus something. Thanks JohnLai. Guess you mean disabling the APN in the android phone
