And you didn't bother to answer it?

I'm also trying to port out my old digi prepaid to umobile and i got that call from digi so i cancelled the portout request and accept digi offer of digi infinite 80 unlimited call and data for rm53/mth.
*
I believe that is not infinite 80 but Digi Postpaid 58 with RM5 discount?
I keep getting the SMS offer from time to time, but I feel not worth it. My Postpaid 38 already has 6gb monthly data and big bonus 1pm to 7pm daily.

He did share in Digi Infinite thread and it's Digi Infinite 80 with discount for 12 months.

Cannot call to terminate, must go to Digi Store a.k.a. Digi Centre. Since this is a broadband no., then can't MNP. Else for normal no., just MNP to another telco prepaid and don't do anything to it and let it die on its own.
*
Oh Ok thanks. 12 months RM53 after that back to normal i presume.

QUOTE(tympg @ Apr 21 2019, 10:00 PM)
Many years ago I tried call in to terminate my Maxis broadband but they said I had to do it in person at the Maxis Centre with my IC.  I presume it'll be the same with Digi.
*
To the contrary, I called Maxis 3 years ago to terminate my broadband and they allow it by deactivate my account for 3 months. Within 3 months i can activate back with RM10 charge, otherwise after that period it will auto terminate.

May I know how much does the Digi Prepaid Live Sim pack cost? It shows rrp rm8 on the pack. Then I asked how much credit inside, the dealer told me rm5 and now promotion with RM 48 credit inside etc..

When he activated the line and finally when I pay, he charged me rm48. Which is so unfair different from the rrp on the pack.

Now I put in the Sim card to my phone, to discover only RM 5... I have received sms like I have activated the big bonus 40..deducted RM 40.. Which ended up now still rm5.. Not RM 48...

I feel so cheated on thiss.. Can I request for refund and cancel the line?
*
Go back and confront the deeler. But before that, share here which deeler so that others won't fall for the same.

Hey guys quick question, a friend has "overdue amount exists" error she claimed that when she was 18 or 19 she signed up for the maxis broadband (comes with wifi router) package but she wasn't given any of the router or any sim card and she used 0 data and didn't make any phone calls but few months later she was sent with a massive bill asking her to pay rm400+/- she refused to pay it claiming that she did not use any service and if she even used 1kb of data or even 1mili second of phone call she'd pay it they checked the system said nothing was used and she refused to pay that bill, now she wants to sign up for digi but gets this error is there anywhere she can sign up for post paid or is she screwed?

she has prepaid in case anyone is wondering.
*
How did she sign up but not given even the sim card? It's not the problem if she use or not, but if she already sign up willingly then telco will charge even without any usage. Unless she can proove that no sim card and router is given, she would have to pay up the amount to get Maxis to release her name from the blacklist.

Maybe for April, it was April Fools Day, May, it's Workers Day.

Let's hope for June, Digi celebrates Gawai too! 😀

Every time a call is diverted from phone no. ABC to phone no. XYZ it is considered a call from ABC to XYZ.  But if ABC is under an unlimited call plan then no further charge is issued.

Setting up call divert is FOC itself.
*
Is there any way to disable SMS from being diverted? I sometimes divert calls to my office line and then notice a few SMS charges to the bill since my SMS is not FOC.

I didn't know SMS could be diverted...

It could, at least on my phone. Sometimes I even forgot that I have call divert, and when I try request banking OTP then it didn't reach my phone until i disable divert.
I am using the *21* followed by phone number to divert.

If let say I'm changing from prepaid v1 to RM38 prepaid plan that digi offer me, how long will it take to migrate over the new plan?
*
Any change of plan is immediate and you cannot revert back to old plan after that. Even from prepaid to postpaid is immediate.

Well, if the merger happens. I think Boost payment is not a priority for this case, customers' experience is more important.
*
Totally agree. If the 2 indeed merge at the end of the day, we'll see what happen in terms of pricing and quality.

From what I can see Axiata will be taking the lead.

Ya coz in Malaysia Telenor only hold 49% of Digi as compared to Celcom which is own locally.

Perhaps can consider switch off 2g already, and allocate more in improving the current 4g and 3g. If this merger doesn't result in better coverage and pricing, then the next move by subscribers is to switch to Maxis, since UMobile stability is still questionable in many parts of M'sia. In that sense Maxis, UMobile and TM can finally gain more subscriber, because less one competitor in the market.

Try to get at least the 6s. I have a 6 Plus and it's getting slower with each IOS update to the point of being annoying. My 6s is still running pretty smoothly.
*
Imo if buy new better get iPhone 7 and above. iPhone 6 support roomered to be drop during upcoming iOS 13, so 6S probably only up to iOS 13.

If new, XS would be better.
*
That one no doubt bro. As long as you have the budget. What I'm trying to say is, if you aim to buy a new iPhone, not the latest iPhone, go for 7 or above. The 6S is already reaching 4 years, and could be out of support possibily in a year time. Unless you plan to change phone in a year or 2.

It's RM90/month, for 40GB internet, 100GB YouTube, unlimited calls, 300 SMS.
On top of that, RM20/month rebate for 12 months.

I didn't even agree to receive any exclusive deal when their customer service called me.
I am not sure how long the exclusive deal period is, but it's ridiculous because they added me to it immediately, but to remove the deal? It is going to take a few working days. I am now stuck with Digi until I don't know when, as contract cannot just be removed by their customer service agent.

After it is removed, I have to go to the new operator to submit for a new MNP request. Ridiculous.
*
I would suggest you to lodge report to MCMC immediately so that they will not drag on and try to delay removing that exclusive pack. Tell MCMC that you do not agree but was added into that deal.

Hey guys, just wanna ask for confirmation from fellow Digi Postpaid 38 users...

Did Digi remove the unlimited call on their Digi Postpaid 38?

Cuz for this month's bill, it's charging me voice calls as well, and all of them is under the same unknown phone number by TM, I didn't even call TM...

Was shocked when I saw the bill is RM 56 instead of usual RM 40+. sad.gif
*
No. Just got my bill few days ago and all is fine. If the number is 1300 or any special number then it's chargeable. I think better you call Digi to clarify.
