Just check and VoWiFi is available in Mate 10. Activated automatically when the SIM is inserted to the phone.
How is VoWiFi works?
Thank you.

If you're connected to a working WiFi network, any phone call will go through the WiFi internet instead of the usual cellular infrastructure. The advantage of this is you can make calls even in areas where your network operator has poor or no signal. In foreign countries you can make calls as if you were still in your home country without being charged at roaming rates.

VoWiFi
1) coverage will be based on WiFi availability, regardless whether that area having signal of Digi?
2) same local charges regardless whether local or oversea to make call/receive call?
3) meaning of my plan is unlimited call, if I'm on VoWiFi, no charge on call?
4) how to ensure the line is definitely on VoWiFi without auto switching to roaming charges while at oversea?

Thanks mate

Yes, as if you are on Digi network in Malaysia all the time.  (If you are in SG, and you call a local SG number over WiFi, you will be charged for an IDD call from Digi network in Malaysia to Singapore).
3) meaning of my plan is unlimited call, if I'm on VoWiFi, no charge on call?
Yes, if to Malaysian number.

One way is to put your phone in Airplane mode and then turn on WiFi on your phone.  But there must be a working WiFi available where you are.
Thanks mate

Have anyone noticed that the network seems to prefer 3G more often, or sticking with 3G much longer before moving back to LTE? It's very irritating if it's true.

You must be at a weak 4G area. For me, 99% of the time Digi is on LTE.

Not really, it's quite strong, because when I turn on the airplane mode and off it, the phone is connected to 4G with full bar.

Tower issue at your area maybe. Report to Digi.

I can't really tell it from iPhone. But anyway it still does not make sense to say that on 900mhz network, it will be easier to drop to 3G.
