Last week I received a sms from digibos51, say that digi offer me 16GB/30days for RM 10, then I open the link but the digi app was down temporarily, I try 128*88# also didnt see the offer, after the digi app back to normal, also didnt see the offer.

Why sent the sms to me if you didn't offer the package, waste my time and energy.

I have one and only one Beyond number. Dunno what year it is, MyDiGi app just says "Beyond" but definitely older than 2017. Not sure about the SMS but there's nothing in my BoS. Totally empty.
*
One of mine didn't have any BoS for a few days, until I checked via USSD I think... *128*88# smile.gif

There used to be a Gold Exclusive BoS but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Can anyone still seeing it, share the location, please? smile.gif

Is it the extra 2GB Roaming Pass? There're 2 of them. One for Thailand & Myanmar. And one for 8 Asia countries.

I see that in the 2nd panel "Gold Exclusives" in MyDiGi Rewards.

Old app.

So there it is! Thanks so much. rclxms.gif

They used to have an offer or two at a lower price for Gold Exclusive. I can't remember exactly what, but am keeping a lookout there. biggrin.gif

Walk in Digi Center/store can request directly to Best prepaid. if do online need to take live prepaid 1st and later change the plan to Best prepaid.
*
Given the choice to switch from Live to Best, and seeing that only Live is available out there for new registration, I've been staring but can hardly find many advantages Live has over Best, except for the slightly longer inactive period before termination.

Am I missing something? blink.gif

I believe the benefit of Best mainly SLL, others than that my personal opinion Live is better
*
Yes, SLL is the main attraction for Best. I started looking at Live since it's become the only plan being offered out there. smile.gif

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Apr 16 2019, 05:00 PM)
1. validity
2. call rate
3. special call rate vs free calls
4. 1gb per day from 12 t o 8am vs 2.5gb a week for streaming
*
Thank you. smile.gif

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Apr 16 2019, 05:10 PM)
Yes, but the main thing is Best plan can get the validity. But not sure the SLL currently how much already unsure.gif
Wanna to try put that number less using, don't know can get from Box of surprise (RM1/day unlimited internet) or not.. devil.gif
*
SLL 365-day is now RM108. nod.gif

QUOTE(tympg @ Apr 16 2019, 05:15 PM)
I have both Best 2017 and Live.  My take on this:

  • Best has 1 year and 6 month SLL, Live has only 1 day SLL.
  • Live has longer grace period (90 days) than Best (75 days).
  • Live has 2.5GB video and music quota every week whereas Best 2017 has free tetherable 1GB data every night at 12am-8am.
  • Live can do Talktime Transfer; Best cannot.
So it depends on your circumstances which plan is better for you.  Personally, I think on the balance Live has more plus points for me.  I tried 1-year SLL once; no way am I spending RM108 just for SLL again.
*
Good listing. I'll look into each and decide what's more suitable for me. smile.gif

Oh, I believe Talktime Transfer is available for Best but not Live. nod.gif

I understand that there's no charge for switching from Live to Best, but will the switch affect the credit balance in the account?

Let's say I reload RM100 into my Live account and later decided to change it to Digi Best. The credit balance will just be carried over, right? hmm.gif

I think credit and validity will not be affected but they won't let you change plans if you have more than 60 days validity.
*
Ah ha, thanks so much for the reminder. I better not reload too quickly, then. wink.gif

I thought you switch to Best?
*
Yes, I did switch a card to Best, but it's much later after I posted that. smile.gif

It's just a spare card and whether to switch it falls mainly with the possibility that I'll want to get SLL for it later. I like this number so I might want to SLL it eventually, whether it's going to be used frequently or not.

Oh, another consideration is Talktime Transfer. As a Live card, the funds may be "locked" inside if it becomes not so actively used. biggrin.gif

RM3 for 1GB 30 days (selected users)
A friend saw this on his account many months ago and has been using it. No one around me has seen it again since, total of over 10 lines.

This is good for low data users. nod.gif

I saw a Hotlink McD sundae offer once, but had to redeem voucher from Maxis shop before going to McD to get it. Then Maxis said "vouchers fully redeemed".

I hardly bother to look anymore. Free in a sense (have to go check-in once a day to accumulate points), but too much hassle is a turn-off. bruce.gif

May I know how much does the Digi Prepaid Live Sim pack cost? It shows rrp rm8 on the pack. Then I asked how much credit inside, the dealer told me rm5 and now promotion with RM 48 credit inside etc..

When he activated the line and finally when I pay, he charged me rm48. Which is so unfair different from the rrp on the pack.

Now I put in the Sim card to my phone, to discover only RM 5... I have received sms like I have activated the big bonus 40..deducted RM 40.. Which ended up now still rm5.. Not RM 48...

I feel so cheated on thiss.. Can I request for refund and cancel the line?
*
Are you new to prepaid SIM?

This is not an uncommon practice used by some dealers, so as advised by alexanderclz, head for Digi Store. Or maybe places like 7-Eleven or myNews shops.

Anyway, if you want to continue using that SIM card, check exact which biGBonus package has been activated with the RM48 you've paid. If it's auto-renewable, you've to make sure to stop it before the 30-day period is up, otherwise it'll attempt to deduct another RM40 for the following month.

Correct me if I'm wrong but...

There's no such thing as "Digi specialized store", a dealer is a dealer, there's always a risk when buying from them.

There are tons of places where you can get your prepaid SIM card with a peace of mind with official RRP, the usual convenience stores (7-11, Mynews etc.), supermarket (like Tesco), Digi Express Store, Digi Store, Digi online website...With so many places around, why went for dealer though?
*
I think it's a Digi Store Express that he's referring to. They've mainly/mostly Digi products only, but at the end of the day, I consider them "Digi Partners" or generally, Digi dealers. I don't think these are Digi's own stores, not like Digi Store...

Digi is really bad in North south highway, I can't even maintain a smooth connection while traveling from Melaka to JB... the phone will keep jumping from full bar 4G to 1 bar, and 3G to no service, before changing again to 4G...
The best thing is that the case is usually closed with 'no abnormaly found by technical team' and case closed.. I wonder what is Digi doing nowadays? Don't even bother to improve the network?
*
Friend and I were using from JB to KL last Saturday and then KL to JB yesterday. Didn't notice any disconnection; guess we're lucky. nod.gif
