Same top-up rm5 every 3 months style?

Also didn't know that calling 1300 number is chargeable, thanks for the enlightenment! notworthy.gif

I would say all telcos in Malaysia will charge for 1300 calls, even if you're on an "unlimited calls" plan.

I'm on Huawei; I have no problem locking on AGPS on Digi. Loading the map is also pretty fast. But then I'm not in the Klang Valley.

toll free 1-300 my foot

All the telcos copy/paste from TM calling 1-300 "toll-free". They don't know what they're talking about.

TM meaning for Toll free 1 300......

TollFree 1800 gives you a single number that your customers can easily remember and call from anywhere inMalaysia for FREE. TollFree 1300 is an alternative for your nationwide customers to call you at the price of a local call only, regardless of where inMalaysia they are calling from.

Written clearly....
*
If 1300 is charged, then it's not "toll free" is it?

1800 is toll-free.
1300 is local-call number.
*
I know that. My point is all the telcos label 1300 as "toll free" because their English is so poor they don't even understand what "toll-free" means.

Sorry, "toll-free" is correct (in the original definition) as it means you don't need to pay the toll (or long-distance) portion, only the local call. So the toll portion IS free.
*
There's no long distance charge nowadays. It's meaningless. Toll free means no charges.

For the calling party, a call to a toll-free number from a landline is free of charge.
*
So? 1300 is not free of charge, regardless from landline or from cellular. Therefore not toll free anyhow.

You may try to subscribe as postpaid but definitely may not get back as prepaid, however you can always jump to other telco as prepaid and jump back
*
Terminated already, how to jump to other accounts?

How to subscribe to postpaid as I am not in Malaysia?
*
Normally you can get on postpaid by applying online, but Digi will reject your application to switch to postpaid anyway, since your line is already terminated.

If you mean switch from prepaid to postpaid via online, that definitely cannot because already terminated.

The only solution is walk-in to Digi Centre to subscribe postpaid.
*
New line postpaid can also be applied online (to deliver the SIM to a Malaysian address) although I'm not sure snowyteddy wants a new line right now.

Definitely no guarantees you'll ever get your terminated number back. Your only hope is to physically go to a Digi Store when you're back in the country and apply for a postpaid line telling them you want your old number back. Hopefully the number has not been recycled by then. This is assuming the number was originally issued by Digi.

How does the gadget line works? RM 80 principle line + RM 10 gadget line? I assume 2 sim cards here. No need to pay the RM 38 supplementary line right?
*
Principal line + RM10 each Gadget line + RM10 Internet Sharing.

Currently LYN doesn't impose strict ruling on thread limit, this thread can continue unless TS has another thought. More pages means it's easier for users to search for information. In Credit Card section, there's a thread with over 700 pages. smile.gif
