I think RESELL VALUE and MAINTENANCE COST are another big issue we (normal malaysian - low income, only able to get a cheap national car and buy a small house) have to concern.

How is the resell value for Savvy? Hopefully it is not like Tiara where u sell at 3k also no ppl want.
I think there is NO second-hand Viva at this moment (if got, that car sure got big problem 1); but I guess resell value of Viva is not bad (referring to the resell value of other P2 cars like MyVi, Kelisa, Kenari)

I'm not sure about Savvy maintenance cost, hopefully it's not as "maintainable" as Tiara.
For Viva, as i heard from the P2 SA, it can share many spare parts with Kelisa.

for poor people that desperate for car to work, they should take the 9 years long to reduce their monthly loan ... a RM100 different a month is nothing to you but not to those poor people....and they can do a lot of things from the DP instead put all into the car...

RICH ppl wont understand POOR ppl situation. No point to argue with them, throw them to Africa for a year and taste the poor ppl life, then only they might understand POOR ppl's life.
If got enough $, everyone also going to pay more D/P to reduce the loan amount (and interest). In cantonese, [if got hair, who wanna be 'lat-lei'] If got $, i also wish to put 20k/30k as D/P la, betul tak (for POOR ppl like me)?

Yes ur correct, every sen counts...longer repayment will enanble us to spend the extras on other thingss.  I'm on 9 years loan with 3.1% interest, that time prior to 2005 interest rate was very low..I trust the reliability of Proton's Savvy to take on the longer HPL.

Added on June 18, 2007, 11:18 amIf people still associate savvy with tiara I dunno wat to say la... if independent workshops like speedworks annd Mythelogy could come up with performance parts like Hotbits exhaust, adjustables and lightened  crank pulley for savvy, that said alot for the demand.. not to mention they are localised third party spare parts like the timing belt, filters etc...the headlamps asembly, driveshafts, engine mountings, pumps are all made in malaysia and by proton.

how is your savvy? it cost a lot for maintenance?
actually, i was thinking to get a Savvy before, but just scare it not maintainable as Tiara.
Tiara and Juara are really big joke in P1's history sweat.gif
