They are not stupid and leave BAM without any monetary sponsorship backup. They are fishing for more sponsors so they keep on saying they haven't found any sponsor yet but in actual fact, there are already sponsors lining up. Goh Liu Ying is now dating fellow Dato Chevy Beh, whose father is the founder of BP health. With such strong backup, money is not a problem for them.

Even before Rio Olympic, they already have the thoughts of turning to independent players. Players changed today, they are more concerned of their life after badminton. Most of them are money minded because of the realistic environment in BAM. Without the restriction from BAM, they can raked up million dollars deal without have to train hard and pressured to win. Winning another Olympic medal is no longer a big deal because they have already won the silver so right now is to make more and more money for future.
